Arrest made following theft from business

Huron County OPP have made an arrest following a recent theft from a local business.

According to police, on November 8, the Huron County OPP received a report of a theft from a business located on Bayfield Road in Goderich.

An investigation began, and as a result of that investigation, police identified a suspect and made an arrest on November 21.

A 30-year-old of no fixed address was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and failure to comply with a probation order.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing where he was remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled at a later date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
