One person has been arrested and charged following a stabbing in Owen Sound.
According to the Owen Sound Police Service, at 4:40 a.m. on December 2, officers responded to a report of a stabbing inside an apartment complex in the 800 block of 2nd Avenue East in Owen Sound.
Police determined that two people were injured as a result of the incident. Two males were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
One male suspect, a 23-year-old resident of Owen Sound, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled at the Owen Sound Ontario Court of Justice. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information should contact Owen Sound Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
