$40M Lotto Max ticket sold in Wellington County

The holidays just became even more merry for someone who bought a Lotto Max ticket in Wellington County.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced that there was one winning ticket for Tuesday night's $40 million Lotto Max draw and it was sold somewhere in Wellington.

Anyone who purchased a ticket for the draw in that county should check it immediately.

In addition to the $40 million jackpot, there were also two $100,000 Encore winners. Those tickets were sold in Barrie and Hamilton, OLG said.

The next Lotto Max draw is set for Friday night with an estimated grand prize of $10 million.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
