Another blood donation clinic coming up in Grey County

Canadian Blood Services has scheduled another blood donation event in the new year in Grey County.

Dundalk will host another blood donation clinic on Saturday, January 25 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Highpoint Community School.

According to Canadian Blood Services, on average across the country, there are about 230 new donors a day. To meet the growing need for blood and plasma, there is a need to double the number of new donors.

New donors of all backgrounds and identities are needed. Eligibility changes have opened the doors for many new donors over the past year.

Visit blood.ca, download the GiveBlood app, or call 1-888-2DONATE to book an appointment this winter.
