More snow to fall across midwestern Ontario Monday

Midwestern Ontario will see more snow fall ahead of Christmas.

Environment Canada is forecasting between 5 to 10 centimetres of snow will fall across the region on Monday.

The morning will most likely see a little bit of snow with the majority falling in the evening. It will start to taper off before Tuesday, however, there will be a risk of freezing rain.

A winter weather travel advisory has been issued for Huron County, Grey County, Wellington County, south Bruce County, and south Perth County.

Environment Canada is urging drivers to be extra careful when driving as the snow and freezing rain could make conditions slippery.
