Two people facing charges after break-and-enter investigation

Two people have been arrested and charged following a recent break-and-enter.

The Grey Bruce OPP were asked to check on a vacant residence on Dawson Street in South Bruce Peninsula on December 21. Police were asked to remove anyone who was inside the residence. Officers removed six people from the residence as requested.

On December 22 police went to check on the same residence, and two people who had been previously removed were found inside again. Those two individuals were arrested.

As a result, a 22-year-old of no fixed address and a 43-year-old from Georgian Bluffs have been charged with break-and-enter.

One of the accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing while the other is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on January 30, 2025.
