Snow remains in the forecast for Midwestern Ontario

Much of Midwestern Ontario will be assured of a white Christmas.

Another round of snow was due to through the region on Monday evening.

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather advisory for the Bruce Peninsula, Huron County, Grey County, Perth County, and Wellington County through Tuesday morning, Christmas Eve.

The weather agency said five to 15 centimetres of new snow is possible.

Snow may taper off to flurries Tuesday morning with a chance of freezing drizzle as well.

"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow," read the advisory from Environment Canada.
