Georgian Bluffs rings in 2025 with New Year’s Levee

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is inviting residents to start 2025 on a festive note by attending the Mayor and Council New Year’s Levee on Sunday, January 5, at the Shallow Lake Community Centre.

The event, running from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., will feature a free public skate and refreshments, offering a perfect winter outing for families and friends.

“The New Year’s Levee is a chance to bring the community together to reflect on the achievements of the past year and look forward to the year ahead,” said Mayor Sue Carleton. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to kick off 2025 together.”

The Levee provides an opportunity for residents to meet and mingle with Mayor Carleton, members of Council, and Township staff in a welcoming and casual atmosphere.

Attendees are encouraged to lace up their skates and enjoy some time on the ice before warming up with refreshments provided by the Township.
