Theft from trailer under investigation

Police are investigating a recent theft from a rural property.

On January 3, South Bruce OPP received a report of a theft from an address along Sideroad 15 Arran,  in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.

Investigators determined that on January 3 at 6:30 p.m., two unknown suspects got into a trailer on the property and took two cans of gasoline, a leaf blower and a sump pump. 

The suspects were operating a silver SUV with affixed plates of DDXP297, which do not belong to the vehicle.  

Anyone with information is asked to call South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
