One person charged following break-and-enter

One person has been arrested and charged following a break-and-enter investigation.

On January 16, Huron County OPP were called just after noon by a business owner who reported an alleged break-in with the suspect still at the scene.

Officers arrived and found the suspect and placed them under arrest. A 33-year-old Huron East resident has been charged with break-and-enter.

The accused was processed and held in custody for a court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich, where they were remanded into custody.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
