UPDATE: Saugeen Shores police still searching for missing man

The Saugeen Shores Police Service has released more information on the man reported missing earlier this week.

Brendan Martin was reported missing to police on January 20.

Police say he was observed in Southampton earlier this month but has ties to the Owen Sound and Barrie areas.

He is described as an Indigenous male, standing six feet tall with a thin build. He was last observed wearing a black/navy winter coat and Timberland-style boots.

Police are asking the residents of Southampton to check their properties and outbuildings in an attempt to locate Brendan to check his well-being.

Anyone with information relating to his whereabouts is asked to contact Saugeen Shores Police at 519-832-2500.
