Province announces funding for local affordable housing and emergency shelter spaces

The provincial government has announced funding to support "affordable housing and emergency shelter spaces."

The $1.8 million in funding will be distributed throughout Perth-Wellington, in order to help create more affordable housing and shelter spaces in the region.

Money will go towards Welcome to Waterloo and Encampment Response Initiative Funding in Wellington County. Meanwhile, the City of Stratford will get money for the United Housing – Music Hall Apartments, Supportive Stratford and the City of Stratford Out of the Cold Program.
