Mischief charge laid after car damaged in Huron East

A 51-year-old man is facing a mischief charge after a vehicle was damaged in Seaforth.

Huron OPP were called just before midnight on Sunday by a person reporting that someone had just vandalized their vehicle.

Officers investigating the incident located a suspect still in the area and made an arrest.

A 51-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with mischief under $5,000. He has been remanded into custody with a future court appearance scheduled in Goderich court.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
