Man reported missing from Southampton

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public's help in finding a man missing since Saturday, January 18.

Brendan Martin was reported missing on January 20 to Saugeen Shores police. The OPP's Criminal Investigation Branch is supporting the investigation.

He is described as a 32-year-old Indigenous male, 6', and 195 pounds. He has a thin build, brown hair, and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black and navy winter coat and Timberland-style boots. He is known to frequent the Owen Sound and Barrie areas.

Despite a series of thorough searches, Martin has not been located. Police are concerned for his safety and have asked residents to check their properties and any outbuildings.

Anyone with information should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
