Charges laid following mischief incidents

Huron County OPP have arrested one person after an investigation into two mischief incidents in 2024.

On August 10, 2024, police were called by two separate complainants who claimed that windows had been damaged at their property.

The suspect was identified by wasn't located at the time. A warrant was issued for the individual's arrest.

On February 1, police located the suspect and arrested them in Wingham. As a result, a 29-year-old of no fixed address is facing two counts of mischief under $5,000.

The accused was processed and held in custody for a bail hearing where they were later released from custody with a court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on February 24th, 2025.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
