Huron Fire Department investigating suspicious fire

Huron Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Huron Fire Department were on the scene of a fire in Huron Park Sunday morning.

The call came shortly after 5 a.m. to the former Centralia College on Airport Line.

The old cafeteria and administration office were destroyed, however, fire crews were able to stop the fire before it spread to the multiple dormitories.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
