Humane Society hosting Valentine's Day adoption event

The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth will host a special event on Valentine's Day.

On February 14, both humane society centres will host a special walk-in adoption event, with the goal of helping more animals find new homes.

Adoption fees for adult dogs will be reduced to $100 for this event, while all other adoption fees remain the same. Fees include spay/neuter surgery, parasite treatment, microchipping, vaccines, and the first order of food for cats and dogs. Meet and greets with dogs must include all members of the household, even other dogs.

Funds from the event will support the humane society's Better Together Capital Campaign, which will help expand their services, provide better medical care, and continue making a difference in the lives of animals and the community.

For more information on the walk-in adoption event or to learn about other ways to support HSKWSP, visit kwsphumane.ca or follow them on social media.
