Police investigate car crashing through Exeter pharmacy

Huron County OPP are investigating the cause of a collision that damaged a pharmacy in Exeter and left the driver with minor injuries.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday local emergency services responded to a single motor vehicle collision along Thames Road. The vehicle crashed through the front window of the Exeter Guardian Pharmacy, resulting in the driver sustaining minor injuries.

According to police, no employees or customers inside the business were hurt. The driver was taken to local hospital as a precaution.

Police say the extent of the damage to the business is currently unknown and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
