Maple Mania returns to Huron County next weekend

Huron County’s annual Maple Mania festival is back from March 21 to 23, celebrating local maple syrup producers, restaurants, and bakeries.

Organized by the County of Huron’s Economic Development Department, the event highlights the region’s strong agricultural traditions and the role of maple syrup in local cuisine.

On Saturday, March 22, local sugar bushes will open their doors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering free family-friendly activities. Visitors can enjoy maple taffy making, farm tours, and live music at participating locations, including:

  • Bayfield Maple – maple taffy making and children’s programming

  • Blyth Creek Maple Farm – free maple milkshakes and tours

  • Coastal Coffee – live music and maple syrup demonstrations

  • Freedom Syrup – free sweet treats and syrup making

  • Robinson’s Maple Products – free cookie decorating and syrup production

Between March 21 and 23, 11 local restaurants will showcase maple-infused dishes. Participating establishments include:

  • 1851 Bayfield Landing, Bayfield

  • Benmiller Inn & Spa, Benmiller

  • Blyth Inn, Blyth

  • The Boot, Seaforth

  • Cowbell Brewing Co., Blyth

  • Eddington’s of Exeter

  • Olio Too, Bayfield

  • Part II Bistro, Goderich

  • River Run Restaurant, Goderich

  • West Street Willy’s Eatery, Goderich

  • The White Squirrel Golf Club & Restaurant, St. Joseph

The festival wraps up on Sunday, March 23, with a pancake brunch at Bad Apple Brewing Company in Bluewater.
