A driver and passenger are both facing charges after a single-vehicle crash outside of Monkton.
Emergency crews were called to Road 164 near Line 55 in West Perth just after 7 a.m. last Friday where a vehicle had rolled. The two people inside the vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation into the cause of the crash, Perth OPP announced charges against the driver and passenger on Monday.
A 37-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with six offences including driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs, dangerous driving, possession of drugs, and driving while under suspension.
A 38-year-old woman of no fixed address is charged with possession of drugs.
The two accused have been released from custody and are both scheduled to appear in Stratford court in relation to the charges on April 28.
