Youth charged after assault in Clinton

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a youth after an assault in Clinton.

Officers responded to a disturbance on March 16, 2025, and determined a person had been assaulted. The accused, a 17-year-old from Huron-Kinloss, faces charges of assault, resisting a peace officer, and obstructing a peace officer.

Due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the suspect’s identity cannot be released. The accused was processed and released with a court date set for April 10 in Goderich.
