The Township of Wellington North will host a pair of open houses regarding the future of the Mount Forest Community Centre.
The building is located at 320 King Street East in Mount Forest. It had previously been under a lease agreement between the township and the Mount Forest Victory Church since August 2009.
That lease agreement expired at the end of December of 2024, with the township now once again responsible for management of the building.
Now, the township will hold open houses to "provide residents and stakeholders an opportunity to tour the facility, speak with township staff and to share their thoughts and ideas on how the township could make the best use of the facility in the future," according to a release from Wellington North.
The open houses will take place on Wednesday, April 23 and Wednesday, May 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mount Forest Community Centre.
