Gun found among thrift store donations

A donation to a Saugeen Shores thrift store caught the attention of local police.

An employee at the second hand store was sorting items last Thursday when they found a handgun and an ammunition magazine rolled up inside donated towels.

Saugeen Shores police were called and seized the weapon.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
