Kincardine closing parks for work this week

A few parks in Kincardine will be closed this week for tree removal.

The Municipality says workers will be taking down hazardous trees in Lake Huron Highlands Park in Tiverton from Monday to Friday, and the park will be closed while contractors are on site.

The Dog Park will also be closed from Tuesday, April 8 at 7 a.m. until Thursday, April 10 at 5 p.m. for the removal of several ash trees.

The Municipality says workers will be on site all week, but during these times there will be heavy machinery, such as bucket trucks and chippers.

This will also result in the closure of sections of the nearby Yellow Trail.

The Municipality thanks residents for their cooperation and understanding.
