Police investigating crash that injured a pedestrian

A pedestrian had to be airlifted to hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday.

On April 15 at noon, Wellington County OPP and emergency services personnel were called to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle on Main Street West in Palmerston.

Police have confirmed that the pedestrian was transported by air ambulance to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Main Street was closed for several hours in Palmerston but has since reopened. The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement was consulted and police continue to investigate.
