Police charge one suspect following robbery investigation

A suspect has been arrested and charged in relation to a recent robbery in Grey Highlands.

On March 20, 2025 at 9:10 p.m., Grey Bruce OPP officers responded to a reported robbery at a gas station on Toronto Street in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Following an investigation, police have arrested and charged a 38-year-old woman of no fixed address with robbery with weapon, disguise with intent and failure to comply with release order.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on April 16, 2025.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
