Woman charged following robbery in Markdale

A woman has been charged in connection with a robbery at a gas station in Markdale last month.

Grey Bruce OPP say the robbery happened around 9:10 p.m. on March 20, 2025 at a business on Toronto Street. A suspect reportedly entered the store, told the clerk “this is a robbery,” and fled with roughly $150 in cash. No injuries were reported.

Following an investigation and a public appeal for tips, police have charged a 38-year-old woman of no fixed address with robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent, and failure to comply with a release order.

Anyone with further information is asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
