Churches, school targeted by thieves in Perth East

Provincial police are looking for five persons of interest in a rash of break-ins at churches and a school in Perth East.

OPP launched the investigation into the series of incidents April 13. The break-in are alleged to have occurred that weekend.

According to police, five people, including three males wearing long sleeve shirts, were involved in the multiple break and enters. Police did not specify whether anything was stolen, but did state that property was damaged.

In addition to the five suspects, police have indicated they are looking for a vehicle of interest. It is described as a white four-door Chrysler 300.

Anyone with information or video footage related to this investigation is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
