Library to hold Indigenous themed event

The West Grey Library will celebrate Indigenous culture at a themed event this month.

On Saturday, April 26 starting at 10:30 a.m., the West Grey Library's elder-in-residence Diane will lead an interactive event as she offers her perspectives on the way Indigenous peoples raise and protect the most vulnerable members of the community.

The event will have participants create their own dreamcatchers. There is a material fee of $15 and pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Also, the Library’s Board of Directors will host an online auction beginning Monday, April 28 at 12 noon and it will run until Friday, May 9 at 5 p.m.

For more information, visit the Library’s website at www.westgreylibrary.com, phone the library at 519-369-2107 or email adultprograms@westgreylibrary.com.
