Bus driver charged after crash involving bus and cyclist

A 73-year-old from Howick has been charged after a crash involving a school bus and a cyclist.

South Bruce OPP responded to a collision involving a school bus and a cyclist along Russell Street in Kincardine at 3:18 p.m. on April 25.

Officers arrived on-scene and found that a student who was riding a bike was hit by the school bus. Luckily, the student had minor injuries that didn't require medical attention.

The driver of the school bus, a 73-year-old from Howick, has been charged with careless driving.
