Man arrested for alleged sexual assault on trail near Exeter

One person has been arrested by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) for an alleged sexual assault.

Back on Friday, the OPP received a report of an assault happening on the McNaughton-Morrison Trail near the town of Exeter.

After an investigation, police arrested a man but have not released any information about him. They say this is because the investigation continues.

Anyone with information, including video footage of the trail between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
