Two more measles exposures in Huron Perth Health Unit

Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is advising the community of two new measles exposures earlier this week. 

The first exposure occurred at the Listowel Clinic of the Listowel-Wingham and Area Family Health Team on Tuesday, April 29, from 10:25 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The second came later that day at the Wingham and District Hospital's Emergency Department from 4:45 p.m. to 8:20 p.m.

Anyone who was at these locations during these timeframes needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure.

According to Public Health Ontario data, there have been 142 measles cases in the Health Unit this year, as of April 29.
