House fire in Dundalk under investigation

Police and fire officials are investigating a house fire in Dundalk.

On May 16 at 5:30 a.m., members of the Grey Bruce OPP responded along with firefighters from Dundalk and Shelburne to a reported fire at a residence on Mackenzie Street in Dundalk.

Crews managed to fully extinguish the fire, and there were no people inside the home at the time.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the fire. Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity along Mackenzie Street to report it to police or Crime Stoppers.

There was no damage estimate given.
