Stratford Police looking for man who removed ankle monitor

The Stratford Police Service is asking the public for help locating a wanted man.

According to police, 41-year-old Joshua McCann removed his GPS monitoring device and fled from his residence on May 14.

McCann is on a release order, facing charges including three counts of theft under $5,000 and six counts of breach of probation.

Police say he was reportedly spotted Friday on Easson Street around 1 p.m. McCann was wearing a light green T-shirt and riding a mountain bike.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 519-271-4141.
