E-bike rider dies from injuries suffered in Perth East crash

A 30-year-old from Perth East has died as a result of injuries suffered in a recent crash while riding an e-bike.

Perth County OPP shared via "X", formerly Twitter, that officers and emergency services responded on May 15 around 10 p.m. to a collision involving an e-bike on Perth Line 42 that lost control.

The lone rider, a 30-year-old Perth East resident, was transported by air ambulance to a local trauma centre where they later succumbed to their injuries.

Police continue to investigate the collision. Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has any dash cam footage to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
