Arran-Elderslie set to host Goods Exchange Day

The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie will be hosting a Goods Exchange Day.

A media release from the municipality shares that the event will be held on Saturday, May 31. Goods Exchange Day is a community-wide event to "promote reducing and reusing materials," according to the media release.

Residents are encouraged to set out usable and unwanted household items near the curb or at the end of the driveway for others to claim and reuse.

The municipality suggests that items like furniture, clothing, books, tools, sporting goods, toys, doors, windows, sinks, and other household goods are great to set out.

Anything set out for the event should be tagged with a visible "FREE" sign.
