New maps hub launched by Bruce County

A new online hub for maps with loads of local information has been launched by Bruce County.

A media release from the county shares that the new Bruce County Maps Hub is a "centralized, user-friendly platform improving how residents, businesses, visitors, and County staff access geographic information and mapping tools."

The new maps hub has information on things like public libraries, community development projects, visitor amenities and tourism information.

Maps can be viewed online, printed off, or even used via open spatial data, which developers and tech users can utilize to "download datasets in various formats to support custom applications and analysis," according to the media release.

Residents are being encouraged to not only use the new maps hub, but also give feedback to the county through the online form to help shape future enhancements.
