Humane Society to hold Adopt-a-thon

The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth will be offering a unique chance to adopt a new furry friend soon.

On Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, both of the humane society's locations will be holding a Sunshine and Second Chances Adopt-a-Thon, offering $50 off adoption fees for adult dogs.

Currently the humane society has over 120 dogs in its care, ready to be adopted.

Every adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, microchipping, and starter supply of food.

The humane society requests that all family members, including other dogs in the household, be present for meet-and-greets prior to approved adoption.
