Children’s Health Day being celebrated in Hanover

The Grey Bruce Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (GBCSWB) community partners will host a celebration for Children’s Health Day in Hanover.

Families are invited to join in on Saturday June 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village at 261101 Grey Road 28, Hanover.

The event will feature loads of kid-friendly events like a foam party, Touch-a-Truck, as well as interactive fire, road, and farm safety demonstrations.

A media release from GBCSWB shares that the day is "designed to highlight the overall health and well-being of children while giving families access to valuable local resources and supports."

Local service providers that specialize in youth mental and physical health will be on-hand offering information. Kids will also get a Passport of Discovery, encouraging them to explore all the booths at the event, which is free to attend.
