Paisley Bluesfest set for return

A popular local bluesfest is returning to Bruce County.

The Paisley Bluesfest is back on June 6-7 this year. Numerous blues artists will be coming to town to share music with fans.

This year the Paisley Bluesfest is being held at the Paisley Community Centre, and admission is by donation. Proceeds from this year's festival will be donated to the Paisley Central School and the Paisley Enhancement Committee.

The lineup this year features The Vaudevillain, The Smoke Wagon Blues Band, Mackenzie Blues, Johnny Max, and many more.

"Every year, this festival brings people together—locals, music lovers, and touring artists alike," said Zach Parker, Festival President. "It’s about great music, yes—but also about belonging."

"That’s the Paisley way," added Alli Shears, Festival Vice-President.
