Motorcyclist hurt in crash south of Paisley

A weekend crash south of Paisley sent a motorcyclist to hospital.

Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision on Bruce Road 3 between Brant-Elderslie Townline and Concession 2A in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie just before 2 p.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival South Bruce OPP determined a motorcycle had left the road and crashed.

The 63-year-old motorcyclist was hurt and was taken to hospital for treatment. Police did not comment on the severity of the injuries.

Bruce Road 3 was closed for roughly an hour and a half while investigators were on scene. It was reopened around 4:30 p.m.

Anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash who may have witnessed anything or who has dash-camera footage is asked to call police are 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
