Hanover supporting volunteer events and bringing back Music in the Square

Hanover is gearing up for two volunteer events and the return of a popular musical event.

Hanover will host a Volunteer Fair in partnership with the Hanover Public Library and a Volunteer Appreciation Day will be held.

The Volunteer Fair will be held on the arena floor at the P and H Centre from 4-7 p.m. on June 17. The goal is to "bring a diverse range of organizations together under one roof, making it easier for residents to explore volunteer opportunities and connect directly with the groups that need their support," according to town.

The Volunteer Appreciation Day will be held June 28.

Also, Music in the Square returns this summer. It will see live, local entertainment in Heritage Square on the second and fourth Saturdays from June to August, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
