Arran-Elderslie to offer free public swims and a Library Pool Pass

The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie will be offering free public swims at its two pools and a new Library Pool Pass program this summer.

A media release from the municipality shares that this summer, free public swims will be offered Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. in Chesley and Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. in Tara.

Also, in partnership with Bruce County Public Library, ten season passes will be available at the Paisley Library branch for sign-out. Library patrons can borrow the passes and return them as they would other library materials. This was put in place to "increase access for individuals who may face financial or transportation barriers," according to the media release.

The Chesley Community Pool and Tara Rotary Pool are open starting at the end of June for public swimming throughout the week, including select weekend times.
