Police still searching for one stolen off-road vehicle after arresting a suspect

A stolen ATV is still being sought by police after an arrest was made in a stolen off-road vehicle investigation.

On June 11 just after 6:30 a.m., South Bruce OPP officers responded to a report of a break-and-enter at a residence in the area of McGivern Street West and Griffith Street in Walkerton.

Police came to the scene and found that unknown individuals broke into the garage and stole two off-road vehicles: a Polaris ATV and a KTM dirt bike.

Officers recovered the stolen dirt bike on June 22 at an address along Concession 2 SDR in the Municipality of Brockton. A 47-year-old individual from Brockton was taken into custody, and has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

The accused is set to appear in the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on July 16, 2025, to answer to the charge.

The ATV is still missing. It is described as a white 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570 all-terrain vehicle (ATV), bearing Ontario plate #6ZP65.

If you have any information regarding this case, contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
