Clinton Public Hospital to see reduced hours this weekend in emergency department

A staff shortage will cause a temporary closure of the emergency department at the Clinton Public Hospital over the next few days.

A media release from the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance shares the hospital's emergency department will close due to human resource issues tonight (June 27) at 8 p.m., and won't re-open until Sunday, June 29 at 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

On Monday, June 30, the emergency department will once again be closed all day. It will re-open on Tuesday, July 1 at 8 a.m.

Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 9-1-1. Paramedics will remain available to the community and will re-route to the nearest available Emergency Department to ensure local residents continue to have access to the emergency services they need.
