Funding for seniors' programs announced by MPP

Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae recently announced funding for seniors' programming in his riding.

A media release from Rae's office shares that $75,000 from the provincial government's Seniors Community Grant Program will be split between three areas in his riding to provide local seniors the opportunity to "stay fit, active, healthy and socially connected."

Seniors Community Grant Program recipients can get up to $25,000 in funding for local programming.

Wellington North and the Stratford Tourism Alliance are both getting $25,000 each. The Township of Mapleton also received $25,000.

"June is Seniors Month in the Province of Ontario," said MPP Rae. "It is important that we recognize and thank the many seniors in Perth-Wellington for their various contributions."
