Suspect arrested after break-ins at storage lockers

One person has been arrested and charged after numerous storage lockers were broken into in West Perth.

Perth County OPP say that on July 6, officers launched an investigation after a receiving information of numerous break-and-enters that happened earlier that day at a storage facility in Mitchell.

As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old Woodstock man was arrested and charged with seven counts of break-and-enter, possession of property obtained by crime, theft over $5,000, and theft of a motor vehicle.

The suspect is currently in custody on separate charges and will be arrested prior to release. Police have also identified a second individual and have issued an arrest warrant.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
