Collision results in fertilizer spill, minor injuries

A Perth County road has reopened following a collision between a tractor trailer and an SUV that left quite a mess Friday night.

Around 5:30 p.m., emergency services responded to a report of a two motor vehicle collision on Road 164, between Line 42 to Line 46. According to Perth County OPP, the the tractor-trailer rolled onto it's side, and spilling fuel and fertilizer over the roadway.

Both drivers involved were medically assessed at the scene, one was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed for several hours for clean up but has reopened.

The investigation remains on-going, and the Perth County OPP is asking anyone with any dash-cam footage, to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
