UPDATE: Goderich Main Beach cleared for swimming

The Huron Perth Public Health inspection team says all beaches in the area are cleared for swimming, after returning positive results for Goderich Main Beach Saturday.

Earlier in the week, the waters tested positive for high levels of E.coli bacteria.

Samples were collected again on Friday and retesting showed that the bacteria level was acceptable this time around.

The Health Unit says all 14 area beaches tested this week were deemed safe.
