Public health warns of measles exposure at St. Marys Memorial Hospital

Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is warning of another measles exposure at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital.

HPPH says the latest measles exposure occurred on Monday, July 14 between 8:55 a.m. and 11:35 a.m. in the emergency department of the hospital.

Anyone who was at this location during the timeframe needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure.

Measles symptoms include fever, runny nose, red watery eyes, a red blotchy rash on the skin, persistent cough, and small white spots can appear on the inside of the mouth and throat but are not always present.
